In this body of current digital paintings, words and images are integrated to create a narrative. The images are meant to evoke thoughts about various aspects of life and positive,uplifting attributes of the human spirit. Working as an arts educator in the inner-city for the past ten years, the artist has been amazed by the hope seen in children's eyes; despite knowing the troublesome situations they come home to each afternoon. Wherever it abides in the human spirit the ability to hang onto hope, no matter how desperate the situation maybe, is something that leaves one awestruck.
