Harmonics is inspired by the natural phenomenon of the harmonic series which is a sequence of sounds—pure tones, represented by sinusoidal waves—in which the frequency of each sound is an integer multiple of the fundamental, the lowest frequency. These harmonic frequencies play a vital role in enhancing our sonic experiences, holding beautiful rich sonic textures that often go unnoticed. Through poetic and playful movement, Khadkwiala attempts to visualize this almost inaudible mathematical construct.
