In the San Marco district of Venice I saw students excitedly talking and walking towards an open archway in a wall. I followed through the archway and entered a large, marble Baroque villa with layers of arches reaching up, it was all built around an huge internal courtyard with marble statues of famous Italian musicians, the beauty and the sounds of musicians practising was thrilling and inspiring.
