The work is located in the Irish landscape providing a rich, unkempt and decaying background that forms a backdrop for visual expressions of global imbalance, environmental destruction, the cyclical nature of existence and our deep connection to the planet and it's guiding forces. The common thread throughout the work is a need to protect, to celebrate, to share, to connect and to nurture the earth. The images explore, technically the photographic potential of creating surreal melded images from several different shots into one seamlessly constructed print.
