'dream of freedom' is a new artwork from Mark Blacks series of new digital collages inspired by being in lockdown over the course of 2020 / 2021. Here we have a still life created from found digital objects that looks at removal of freedoms that have been experienced across the world by us all in these extraordinary times. Created to a statement of both frustration and aspiration in equal measure it draws inspiration from the iconic road movies of the 1970’s and the world of the American muscle car, long a short hand for the freedom of the open road. 2021 Digital Collage.
