The Dromana 3 Drive in, operational since 1961, has seen many changes over the past 60 years, and is one of Australia's few remaining drive-in cinemas. Situated along the Mornington Peninsula Freeway, the three screens are well known to many weekend vistors and holiday makers passing by as they head south from Melbourne, but one detail that is hidden from the road is the original signage at the back of Screen 1. Weathered with 60 years worth of fabulous patina, the Peninsula neon sign is a little secret only locals know, and we kind of like it that way.
