This work talks about infodemics disorder and the impossibility of escaping into a hyper-connected world. Through the use of the datamosh, the images of a rat looking for a refuge on the sidewalks of Coney Island blend together with those of an indifferent and busy Manhattan sidewalk. Is death around the corner?

Filming took place in early March in New York, just before the lockdown. All the sounds of the video instead are field recordings recorded in the middle of traffic and on public transport in Milan in February 2020.
