2023. Home video recorded with my Galaxy A32 Smartphone. Recording a home video from a random YouTube video on my old Mac OSX El Capitan. Should I ask the author of the video for permission to record my own video? I assume not since my reflection and those in my studio overlap, so this home video becomes part of the landscape, and landscapes are copyright-free. Background: my daughter takes beautiful photographs of shop windows in which you can also see her own reflection; my ex-husband creates great collages from X-rays and old photos. The black and bluish and brown tone of those collages is the same that appears in my home videos.
