In World Out is the new collection of Alex Mcleod, made up of six works, exclusively selected for Sedition. The series presents a unique array of Mcleod's digital practice, defined as a concern with 'simulation and the transition of matter'.

In World Out is an introductory collection to the practice of Alex Mcleod.

Interrogating the themes of life cycles, transitions and continuity, Mcleod's abstract, amorphous forms and scenes blend the virtual with the real, creating a hybrid, third space for the artist, a unique space of his own. The digital animations in the collection speak of the interconnectivity and constant change of forms that are both of, and out of, this world.
