Introduction

Krista Kim is an award-winning contemporary artist and visionary thought leader interrogating digital consciousness through immersive installations, NFTs, and philosophical discourse. A World Economic Forum Cultural Leader and Metaverse Editor for Vogue Singapore, she merges art and technology to shape ethical digital culture via her Techism Movement (2014), advocating innovation as a catalyst for digital humanism.

Her pioneering NFT Mars House (2020)—the first virtual “Metaverse home”—achieving a record sale on SuperRare. She is part of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) permanent collection (a landmark for female NFT artists) Works like Continuum, spanning 96 Times Square screens and LACMA’s holdings, and Heart Space (2024), a biometric-driven AI installation commissioned by Julius Baer for Art Dubai, exemplify her fusion of meditative aesthetics, light, and interactive technology.

Kim’s exhibitions span Sotheby’s New York, Hermitage State Museum, Palazzo Strozzi, and Davos, with collaborations for Louis Vuitton and LANVIN. Recognized by The New York Times and Architectural Digest, she bridges high art and tech industries, earning dual Excellence in Digital Art Awards (2024, 2025) from Createurs Design Awards.

By interrogating AI and the metaverse’s role in mental well-being, Kim envisions a future where technology elevates collective consciousness, urging humanity toward harmonious coexistence with digital innovation.
