Julie Mayfeng is a Korean photographer living in Seoul, South Korea. She has been working on photographs of human life and solitude through travel in earnest since 2009.

Her work has been featured in CNN, National Geographic, Monocle Magazine, The Escapist, Elle Decor Magazine, Airbnb Magazine, Amuse, Travel+Leisure, Lonely Planet etc.

She has made several trips to India and Nepal, and has traveled to the third world, including Sri Lanka, Israel & Palestinian territories, Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Myanmar(Burma), Thailand, Morocco, and Vietnam. And she completed her cross-Russian travel and documentation in winter 2019, and is now staying in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, working on a new project.
