My name is Ernesto Simon, and I was born in Argentina on February 4, 1961. I was nineteen years old when I came to live in the United States, and I am now fifty-nine years old. I speak English, Spanish, and Yiddish fluently; I can speak French, although not very fluently. I can also manage speaking Modern Hebrew and Portuguese, and I am currently learning German and Italian. I have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting (150 credits, CPA degree requirement), and I eventually intend to pursue a Master’s in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I currently work as a private ESL tutor; I teach English to people from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Colombia, and other Spanish speaking countries. I co-wrote Sparkle from Darkness, by Ronald Henderson; I am the assistant co-author of the book.
