The films rarely have sound or any visible cuts, and neither does his work Flock of Seagulls. The work is typical of Lewis’ methodology: shot in Vancouver on Second Beach in 2012, a very short clip shows a man walking along a beach promenade when a perfect triangular formation of seagulls passes through the sky overhead. The scene subsequently reverses and creates the impression that it could be looped eternally.
