The Kiss, by the artist duo APOTROPIA, formed by dancer/media artist Antonella Mignone and artist/composer Cristiano Panepuccia, is an audiovisual work that explores contact between two bodies. The bodies are depicted as dispersed particles that come together to form to two people kissing. The figures flicker and shift representing the chemicals generated in the brains of two people engaged in an intense moment. The bodies part and the distortion calms, leaving two figures gazing at one another.
