Field of Infinity (Image of Image) is a new digital adaption of the work Field of Infinity, which won the best experimental film award at Venice Film Week and has appeared in numerous festivals and art events including FILE Brasil, VIDEOEX Switzerland, Montreal Underground Film Festival and WRO Biennale Poland.

Inspired by both Italian Renaissance paintings and the tradition of depictions of conflicts in art, the work processes footage of a demonstration by a group of youngsters in an open field in the Middle East, with landscape images from Tuscany, Italy. The work highlights body gestures as submerged in lush landscape. Red poppy flowers receive painting-like quality, brush over the human movements, combined into a dark and colourful scramble. A girl appears from the abstract kaleidoscopic colours and motion, walking in the field alone. Where is she headed? The work is a ground for thought, opening up an array of reflections.
