Archway 2 is part of Passages, a collection of nine images and videos from different series of work by Nicolas Feldmeyer. The works contemplate space, light, and the longing for what is out of reach.

Archways is a series of imagined landscapes with monumental architecture, entirely constructed with 3D software. Drawing upon pictorial traditions of the capriccio, the romantic sublime and megastructures, they were inspired by a feeling of awe felt when contemplating things far beyond our grasp.
