This is a photo of a traditional sailing boat off the coast of Morondava in Magagascar. The image was taken in 2005. I am not sure if these type fo boats still exist. This one manouvers without help of a motor and electronics. The sailors are highly skilled and navigate the teacherous reefs without maps or technical aid.
