This photo was taken in the Komodo Nationalpark in Indonesia. Strong tidal currrents run between the small islands and navigating thes waters requires a lot of local knowlege. The photo was taken abord the "Sama Sama", an tratidional indonesian ship made of stone wook. Unfortuantely the vessle doesn´t exist anymore. But there are many images that keep it´s memory alive.
