Waiting for Market is a moving image work which is part of the Waiting collection of ten works, each of which is created to seamlessly and continuously loop.

The collection was largely inspired by the works of the Danish Modernism and Expressionism movement, in particular the work of Carl Holsøe and Vilhelm Hammershøi.

Shepherds tending grazing flocks have been depicted in paintings across the centuries. This piece was largely inspired by the work of the Belgian Eugène Verboeckhoven.
