Waiting for Night is a moving image work which is part of the Waiting collection of ten works, each of which is created to seamlessly and continuously loop.

The collection was largely inspired by the works of the Danish Modernism and Expressionism movement, in particular the work of Carl Holsøe and Vilhelm Hammershøi.

The simplicity of the gently moving ageing curtains provide a barrier between the darkening sky and the very simple still life.
